Time To Grow

 Hello my little Oddlings,

I hope you are doing well.  In this blog today we will be talking about taking time to grow in your craft.

I know baby witches see things on tv or movies or in books and expect that to be them the moment they pick up a wand.  This is not the case.  Yes, you might have some "gifts" that you inherited from your ancestors, but you will not be a Glenda, Samantha, Sabrina or any of the other witches.  First of all, most of that is staged.

Let me explain what a witch normally does. We use the elements around us and the energy around us. (Please don't be thinking of Dragon Ball Z or Air Bender right now.) We work with our spirit guides to use Earth's energy to bring into creation our intent.  We can use water, Earth, fire and air to help bring those into existence. We can do it in the form of chanting, mudras, spells (spoken or written), thought, creating an item, many ways.  The main thing is "Your Intent".

Your intent is powerful.  More than you know.  As stated above thought is one part of manifestation.  Just because you didn't speak the words you thought, the universe heard you none the less.   Clean your heart, mind and spirit of all hate, anger, revenge whatever can take on a dark shadow.  Write your spell out, read over it, reread and adjust then read again.  Make sure you don't leave any loop holes.  Make sure your intent is precise and clear.  And never forget to cover your butt.

Now how you release this into the world or universe is up to you.  You can study up on your element of choice.  But once it's been released......forget about it.  Now time is the next step.  Most people I do work for get angry and come back to me the next day.  They wonder why nothing has changed.  I clearly told them it would take some time for it to work.  They wanted immediate results.  I tried to explain that with to kind of results comes great sacrifices and ramifications.  That's why I don't touch dark magic.  I am not willing to sacrifice things I hold dear or make a blood sacrifice just because I cannot wait.  I've seen too much.

While in this "waiting" period you have time to study, learn more about your craft and your specific path.  You don't just jump into a car expecting to know how to drive just because you saw someone on tv do it.  Or make a chemical compound in a lab again because you saw it online.  No to both (I hope). You study.  You read, Yes you can watch a few videos but always back up their research.  Cross reference.  Remember school?  Same thing. Prove the work before you actually try.

I hope this helps someone today.

Blessings my little Oddlings.
